Image Galleries
Flower Store In a Box has nine in built gallery types that can be incorporated into your website. Four standard gallery types in the Starter Package and an additional five Web 2.0 Galleries in the Premium Packages.
Each Gallery type will suit different needs and different websites, from florists with lots of images per gallery to florists with a smaller number of images per gallery.

- Crop Image thumbnail to a square image; Choose from large or small thumbnails.
Some Galleries are also more SEO friendly than others, but some look better than others, so when choosing a gallery it’s important to choose one that suits your needs.

Starter Package Galleries
Click Gallery
The click gallery is a versatile and proven gallery type, based on the original Facebook Photos feature. The user is first shown all the image thumbnails for the gallery, then when the user clicks an image, a new page opens with the image and navigation. The user can click the image to progress to the next image or use the Next, Previous icons.
This gallery type is good for Search Engine Optimsation as every image is on it’s own webpage giving your website more pages for the search engines to index. The other benefit is that the page itself can be bookmarked, sent to a friend, liked in Facebook etc.
The downside of this gallery is that it is slower because a new page is opening every time the image is changed. There is no animation etc but it is very easy to use.
This gallery can be used for galleries with a small or large number of images per gallery.

Swap Gallery
The swap gallery is extremely useful where you have a small number of images per gallery, and you have the same number of images per gallery.
The gallery is very simple, a large version of the first image is displayed along with smaller thumbnails along one side of the main image. When the thumbnail is clicked the larger version of the image is displayed.

Normal Gallery
The Normal gallery is based on the oldest gallery type available online, the image thumbnails are displayed on the page and when an image is clicked the large version opens in a modal window.
You can choose how many images are displayed per page, how many images per row and the size of the initial thumbnail.

Slide Gallery
The slide gallery is an attractive simple gallery that is especially useful for florists who have very few images in a gallery but want a gallery that appears much larger than it is.
The slide gallery only every displays one image at a time so it’s difficult to know exactly how many images are in the gallery, which is both a positive if you have fewer images and a negative if you have a lot of images.
The navigation is extremely simple with two buttons Next and Previous.
Users cannot bookmark individual images and descriptions or captions are not displayed.
This is an impressive gallery if you want something quick and easy without having to write long descriptions or have many images per gallery.

Premium Package Galleries
Gone Gallery
The Gone Gallery is an attractive animated gallery that works much like the swap gallery works by swapping the main image on the page without refreshing the page.
The “slideshow” feature can be turned on or off by the user and will continue for as long as the page is open. The thumbnail is also highlighted when the image is being displayed giving multiple visual cues to the user.
This is a great gallery when you do not have many images per gallery and is ideally suited for florists who want to make visual “wow” statement. The description or caption of the image is displayed as a “tooltip” overlying the image rather than on the actual page.
The individual images cannot be bookmarked only the individual gallery.

Gtwo Gallery
The Gtwo gallery is a swap gallery with animation that can be used for many images.
The thumbnails are displayed in a moving banner at the top of the screen and the main image is displayed underneath.
The gallery also allows for a much longer description per image that is displayed to the right hand of the main image.
There is no practical limit to the number of images per page, however this gallery would be ideal for a medium collection of images per gallery.
The gallery can also be viewed as a looped sideshow function by the user making it more animated and interesting.

Gthree Gallery
The Gthree gallery is our interpretation of the new Facebook Galleries. On the starting page all the thumbnails are displayed in the gallery and there can be as many as you would like, so this is a very useful gallery when you have a lot of images.
When an image is clicked a new modal window with inbuilt navigation opens to the maximum width and depth of the users browser screen. The image can then be clicked to move forward to the next image or the previous and next buttons can be used to navigate as well.
At any time the user can close the modal window and they will be shown the image thumbnails.
Whilst individual images cannot be bookmarked they can be saved to the user’s desktop.

Gfour Gallery
The Gfour gallery is very similar to the Normal Gallery with a few important small changes.
The modal popup window only shows the image and can closed by clicking anywhere else in the screen.
Navigation to the next or pervious image is included in the actual larger version of the image as well.
This gallery is suitable for when your images are not very large and you have a lot of them.
