Most florists have customers that have an account that’s paid for later, whether it’s the real estate agent down the road or the local accountant.
Some of these will have a standing order with you for flowers every Monday, but others will have add-hoc arrangements where they order flowers and then pay later.
You can add Account Customers to your Flower Store in a Box website really easily with a few small steps!
In the Marketing Menu go to Members Levels.
Click the blue button to add a new members level and call it Accounts
If the account customer is already a member of your website under Customers, search for them.
Otherwise choose the blue button add Customer
Then choose the new members level Accounts and save the form.
Your account customer needs to login to your website with their username and password and they will be shown a button to “Pay by Account”.
When the order is displayed in your Orders it will say “Account” so you know you need to chase up payment.
It’s a great way of driving your regular account customers to your website and freeing up you are your staff’s valuable time! If you need you can also have the Account option highlighted in the Tax invoice as well!
