We're incredibly excited to roll out our brand new Automated Loyalty Program for florist websites designed to reward your loyal customers and boost repeat business, all without lifting a finger.
This is part of our ongoing improvements to the Members and Customers features, and it's going to be a game-changer.
What Is the Automated Loyalty Program?
In a nutshell, this new feature lets you set up automatic loyalty tiers for your customers similar to how airline frequent flyer programs work.
Each tier is based on the total amount a customer has spent with your store. As they reach specific spend thresholds, they're automatically upgraded to the next level and receive a personalised email (and optionally an SMS) congratulating them.
Example Loyalty Levels:
- Bronze Assigned automatically when a customer joins
- Silver After spending more than $500 in total
- Gold After spending more than $1,000
You can create as many levels as you like, and each level can include:
- A discount for future orders
- A one-time promo code
- A personalised message or thank-you offer
- An SMS notification in addition to the email
This gives you maximum flexibility to craft a program that suits your business and rewards your most loyal customers in a meaningful way.
How It Works

Once a customer reaches a defined spend level:
- They are automatically upgraded to the new member level
- An email is sent to congratulate and inform them of their new benefits
- (Optional) An SMS is also sent for more immediate recognition
- The discount or reward associated with their new level is now automatically applied to all future eligible purchases
Its hands-off, seamless, and built to delight your customers.
How to Set It Up
To configure your automated loyalty levels:
- Go to: Customers ? Marketing (button) ? Automated Members Levels
- If you already have Member Levels set up, click on any of them to enable automation.
- For each level, you'll need to:
- Define the minimum total spend required to reach that level
- Ensure that each level has a higher spend threshold than the last (e.g. Gold must be above Silver)
- Enter the email subject and content that will be sent to the customer
- (Optional) Tick the box to enable SMS and enter the SMS message
Important: If you don't include email content, a blank email will be sent which may confuse your customers or get flagged as spam. Make sure every level has at least a subject and a short message.
What Should Be in the Emails?
These messages are a combination of:
- A congratulatory message (You're now a Gold Member!)
- A thank-you note for their loyalty
- A gentle upsell, encouraging them to continue shopping and enjoy their new perks
Feel free to include a discount code, a time-limited offer, or even highlight popular products to encourage their next purchase.
Coming Soon: Loyalty for Phone & In-Store Orders
We're not stopping here. Very soon, we'll be expanding the loyalty program to include customers who order over the phone or in-store, so you can reward all your loyal customers not just those who order online.
