Use Apple Business Connect to promote your business

If you're looking to boost your website's visibility and drive more sales, there's a handy trick that often gets overlooked: adding your business to Apple Maps using Apple Business Connect.

Sure, Google Maps is the go-to for many, but don't underestimate the number of people using Apple Maps!

Just like Google Business Profiles, Apple offers Apple Business Connect, and the best part? It’s free and straightforward to set up. Here’s how to get started:

Setting Up Apple Business Connect

  1. Create an Account First things first, head over to Apple Business Connect and hit that "Get Started" button.

  2. Add Your Business Location Use the search bar to find your business location. Once it pops up, select it.

  3. Confirm Your Business Location Double-check your details:

    • Country/Region
    • Street
    • Unit, Suite, etc. (Optional)
    • City
    • State
    • Zip Code

You can even drag the pin on the map to ensure it’s perfectly positioned over your main entrance or enter the exact coordinates.

  4. Add Details About Your Location Apple Maps might already have some pre-filled info about your business, but you can update it. You can also set your primary category and add additional ones. For example, if you run a board game café, you could list “Café” as your primary category and “Board Game Store” as an additional one. Don’t forget to add your website link!

  5. Add Your Company Details Enter your legal company name and address. If your company address is the same as your location, just check the box.

  6. Verify Your Business Now for the verification. You’ve got two options:

    • Phone Call (Instant) – Get a call at your business location's number.
    • Document Review (Up to 5 Days) – Upload an official document, like a lease or utility bill.

Once you’re verified, you can start updating your business info, adding showcases, photos, and more.

And that’s it! You're all set to make the most out of Apple Business Connect and give your business an extra boost. Happy updating!
