Introducing the Enhanced Product Page Template for Florists
We've been hard at work over the past few months building and testing a range of new features to make your florist ecommerce website even more powerful and user-friendly.
This week, we're excited to roll out a brand-new enhanced product page template-designed to provide your customers with more detailed product information, clearer visual cues, and improved usability. You'll also get new ways to showcase product restrictions, business rules, and FAQs, all integrated seamlessly with your website's dashboard.

You're welcome to use all, some, or none of these features, completely up to you. Over the next two weeks, we'll be updating all customer sites with the latest software version and will provide step-by-step instructions on how to enable the new template yourself.
To support these new capabilities, we've created a standardised product page template, fully compatible with your current dashboard settings. Most customers without custom display rules can upgrade right away, while those with more complex configurations can contact us to plan a smooth transition.

The new layout is based on our popular two-column design, featuring large product images with key actions (like Add to Cart) conveniently positioned to the side.

Feature Highlights
New Addon Icons and Images
We've upgraded the addon manager in your dashboard. You can now choose from a library of pre-designed icons or upload your own images to visually represent product addons on the product page.

Business Rules in Categories
Products can now display real-time alerts if they fall under category restrictions such as:
- Not Available Same Day
- Limited Access
- Pre-order Only

These alerts also show the next available delivery date automatically factoring in blocked delivery dates.
Category Restrictions
If certain product categories are restricted to specific dates (e.g. Mother's Day, Valentine's Day), customers will now see a clear notice on the product page plus a direct link to the correct category so they don't get confused at checkout.

Alcohol Warning
If a product contains alcohol and you've enabled alcohol restrictions in your settings, a legal age warning is now displayed to inform the customer and recipient that both must be over 18.

Editable Substitution Policy
You can now customise the substitution policy displayed with each product, providing flexibility for different seasons or occasions.
Product FAQs
We've added a new tool to help you create and display product-specific FAQs. These are not only helpful to customers they also improve your SEO and AI-bot visibility as part of our upcoming FAQ Answer Optimisation features.

Google Review Product Integration
Showcase your best Google reviews directly on the product page, reinforcing trust and social proof.
Trust & Payment Icons
Your accepted payment methods are now shown directly under the Add to Cart button. These icons update automatically based on the payment settings you've configured in your dashboard.

Delivery Suburb Lookup
Customers can enter the suburb they want to send flowers to and receive auto-suggestions for similar suburbs, reducing delivery errors.

Icons for Pet Friendly, Hospital Friendly, and No Vase Required
Easily mark products with relevant attributes: Pet Friendly, Hospital Friendly, or No Vase Required. Icons will display automatically based on your selections.

Sticky Mobile Add-to-Cart Button (Optional)
You can enable a sticky 'Add to Cart' button for mobile views, ensuring it's always visible to increase conversion rates.

Short Product Description Above Price Options
Add a concise description just above your product's pricing options perfect for a quick summary or promotional message.
Expandable Product Description
If your product description is long, you can hide all but the first paragraph with a Read More toggle, keeping the page clean while offering more info on demand.

Inventory Display
For products with limited availability, you can now display the quantity available for purchase ideal for fast-selling or seasonal items.
