Over the last few months though a lot of feedback from customers we have been preparing to streamline the architecture and design of the dashboard.  These changes are now live on the site.

We have also updated the design and layout of the Orders Screen so it’s more attractive, you can read more about the changes here.

On a high level our intention has been to merge items together where it makes sense to reduce the complexity of the dashboard.

We’ve thought about what are the features and tools you use on a regular basis and made these easier to find and more obvious.  And where tools or screens are something that are not used all that often we have moved them to parts of the screen that are not used all the time.

We started this process with the updated product module where we merged all the product features, inventory, product reports etc into one screen.  You can read more about the updated product module here.

Some highlights of the new screens and merging of tools together are:

Marketing & SEO

We have grouped all the marketing tools together, like Discount coupons, social media settings, members loyalty levels etc.

All SEO Tools are also grouped together now as well.

Settings

Your main settings for opening hours, address etc are all under main settings still, however we have moved some of the “advanced” settings here to focus more on the things you need to change regularly.

Delivery Options

All the delivery settings for your site are now accessible in this one screen including:

  • Blocked Delivery Dates
  • Delivery Locations and Costs
  • Surcharges
  • Suburb Block Dates
  • Courier Settings

Notifications

All the automated emails, SMS notifications from your website and dashboard to your customer are now under the Notifications menu option.

Manage Users

As we add new screens for different user types, User Management will become far more important.

New Main Menu Structure

Recently we have continued to do this by reducing the main dashboard options and merging more of the screens together.  In this way we have now streamlined the high level menus to:
